I am still here. Just using my energy to recuperate. The double whammy of two hospital stays, major surgery and pneumonia have drained every bit of energy from my body. After my last hospital stay it was everything I could do to take a shower or go to the bathroom on my own. 500 steps max per day. I am now up to 1000-1500 steps a day but recuperation is slow going.
Sweet Buddy is there by my side every day. Yesterday he got a haircut. He was pretty shaggy as originally was supposed to be trimmed two weeks ago but I got out of the hospital that day instead so we delayed it. He looks so much better with a clean shaven face.
This week I am going to try and cook supper more, that will take a lot off his plate. The problem is I can't stand up too long without having to sit so it makes things more interesting. Other than that I am healed up with no issues there. Eating is another game altogether, I have zero interest in food and that is highly unusual for someone who always had a very healthy appetite. I also have pain after eating, a sign I likely will need pancreatic enzymes soon. Talking to Drs this week about it.
We are supposed to get a dump of snow this weekend and the coming days. That sucks, hubby really doesn't need any more work shoveling snow as I can no longer help him as I normally do. I hope it doesn't snow too much. Other than that things are quiet. I haven't left the house since about the 10th of December for anything other than going to the hospital. Mom is in our "bubble" so allowed to visit and she comes over about twice a week. Hubby takes her on all her errands as required.
I am very thankful for the outcome of the election (trolls f*ckoff - don't bother commenting) so someone sane can actually try and assist steering the USA through the complete hell of the pandemic and that Mr insane no longer has access to the nuclear codes to start a war.
That's all I've got. Thanks for all your well wishes. I don't have as much energy so won't post as much. I haven't been commenting on blogs but have been reading them, I don't have much to say right now. Take care and stay safe everyone.
