Dip in the Road

I'd love to say that I've been happily at home recuperating but unfortunately, I contracted pneumonia and ended up back in the hospital for 3 days.  I got out yesterday and am doing much better due to an extremely powerful dose of antibiotics via IV.  I am hoping now that I can get on with healing as my incisions are in great shape and need to get some of my energy back and get back on track with eating.

Yes, things look good from here on out - so happy to be home again with my sweet husband and dog and home sweet home.

  6. I am glad you are recovering. Pneumonia is not uncommon after surgery. You need tons of rest. I do not know if you have any dietary restrictions. If not, eat fresh fruit such as kiwis, oranges, things high in vitamin C and hearty veggie soups made with chicken or beef stock. Stay safe and be well.

  22. So sorry to hear you have been so unwell, whilst antibiotics do an essential job I hope they don't make your gut feel a bit crook. Yoghurt and sauerkraut (not together though ha, ha) will make you feel a lot better as well. Take care.
