Unexpected Freebie

This past Christmas I ordered a photo calendar from Wallyworld for my Mother-in-law.  I ordered it early as needed to take it with us when we traveled to Alberta in late November.  It arrived in plenty of time.  Apparently I missed the fact that it arrived beyond their normal deadline.

This week I received an email indicating due to this screw-up I was receiving a $25 future credit at the photocentre plus 100 free prints(value $19)!  The original purchase price of my order?  $22.47.  Woohoo great freebie which far exceeds my original purchase price.  I will use it towards next Christmas as the credit never expires - perhaps another personalized calendar for someone else or personalized mugs/magnets.  As for the prints - I normally don't order prints but was thinking of doing a family collage so would make use of them that way with only a frame left to buy.

I never complained - didn't really realize the order had been late.  It was completely unexpected and it made my day!

    1. My Mother-in-law loves the calendar - especially the part about labeling each person by name as she no longer can remember who is who.
