Disgusted

I lost some faith in humanity last night....one of my favorite bloggers said it best in this post:

The Non-consumer Advocate - I'm Mad As Hell

  1. Totally agree. I'm also mad as hell. And, so very disappointed. Progress erased. I killed my Facebook account. . . I need a break.

    1. Exactly - progress erased, although I do think the bulk of America does not agree with the racism and sexism. Perhaps they thought there was no other way to kill Obama care which in the end is better than nothing for so many people

  2. We feel your pain. First Brexit and now this.
I'm a massive Michael Moore fan, have you read this?

    1. Yes he is a very smart man. I don't think the world has begun to feel the full force of Brexit - those who thought it would be so much better likely have changed their minds already. A definite case of be careful what you vote for

  3. Aren't you a Canadian? Shouldn't you be concerned about your own country and not ours?
Under Trump you won't be Living Rich On The Cheap. You'll just be living rich.
Should we get the violin out for you now?

    1. Cindi, as I have said in my last two posts - if you disagree please don't read my blog. I was born in the USA fyi and therefore am an American Citizen and I have many immediate relatives who still live there. Trump has far more destructive power than just the USA - perhaps you should read up on it. Believe me - right now I would have loved to have been born in Canada

    2. Plus I don't possibly see how Canada will be doing any better with Trump - in fact there are many business repercussions.

  4. I don't do facebook but I also follow the non consumer advocate and love Micheal Moore so have read his five point plan. As I said in another comment somewhere else Trump is one man he can't do much on his own and hopefully those around him will stop him from carrying out any of his destructive plans.

    1. I read the five point plan, although in real life it is not likely unfortunately. I do agree, hopefully the law and his party will stop him from being too destructive as I do believe there are some good people in that party who had to deal with this nimwit

  5. I'm in total agreement. I used to tend toward mistrust and cynicism. I've found my way out of those tendencies over the years and really hate the current feelings I have. People like you remind me I'm not alone. WE are also humanity and I definitely haven't lost my faith in you.

    1. 99% of the rest of the world (except maybe Russia and the average Russian has no choice) feels the same way.

  7. But, that is how the democracy works, right? Once the decision is made by the people, we have to respect that.

    1. True but we don't have to like it and we don't have to put up with racism, homophobia and sexism.

    2. That is true too. Hope, humanity will survive and people will continue to help each other.

  8. I won't protest but I will not be quiet ever about intolerance. Racist slurs in a school bathroom wall the day after election and someone posted "free speech" on the FB wall where the awful pictures were shared.
