String of farmed mussels that must have gotten loose from its tether |
Fortunately hubby has been pulling up the slack and cooked an awesome two day beef enchilada casserole to take some of the pressure off me to cook. He is such a good husband.
Anyhow, I am not here to complain - just letting you know that tomorrow night is our Beginner Sea Kayak Lesson of which we are both looking forward to and just a little fearful at the same time. The weather looks lovely so we shall make the best of it. Wish me luck!
Hope you feel better soon. Enjoy your kayaking lessons!
ReplyDeleteI forgot about feeling tired once we got on the water. It was a blast!
DeleteGood luck with your Kayak lesson. I would be terrified. You're very brave. And a hubby that cooks is the greatest thing ever in my book. Insomnia though, is the pits. I have an irregular sleep cycle which is not exactly insomnia but it has me up at 2 or 3am everyday and it's extremely difficult for me to stay up past 7pm.
ReplyDeleteI recently guilted him as told him we was such a great cook but hasn't cooked much recently. He stepped up after that! My favorite dish he cooks is his BBQ ribs though.
DeleteKayaking sounds exciting....enjoy the time learning and taking some time out of your busy schedule....
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better and it is wonderful that your hubby helps out....
Have a great day...
Thanks Lisa! Hubby has a watch that records calories burned (he only turned it on part way through) and he burned over 600 calories. Way more fun than the treadmill.
DeleteKayaking on the sea! I'd be too wimpy to do that!
ReplyDeleteJane x
It sounds and looks way harder than it is. We were both surprised how easy it was.
DeleteKayaking wow! i'm a hude whimp and be too scared
ReplyDeletehave fun
Not scary at all - way fun!
DeleteYou are so BRAVE to take up sea kayaking. I can't wait to hear about it.
ReplyDeleteThere was a certain amount of security knowing if I went into the drink the instructor would come rescue me. But husband asked where the life insurance was before we left lol.
DeleteFibromyalgia is a tough disease - I hope you are more at ease soon. So nice to have a husband who helps out, you're lucky there!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the kayak lesson - I'd like to do that. :)
It was fun! I loved the fact that I am not a strong person on the upper body and I relaxed and just cruised around. Those that are more muscular seemed to have a harder time as they were over paddling.
DeleteKayak lessons sound great! And, I can definitely relate to the laying in bed, not being able to sleep - have the same issues at night, despite being exhausted. Here's hoping you catch up on your rest!
ReplyDeleteYes, I am sure with Lupus you suffer far more than I do. Just having a bad stretch, hopefully it will get better in a few days.
