This is how we welcome the start of winter to Alberta. We say goodbye to most of our feathered friends until April. Today hundreds of birds made a pit stop on our ponds on their way South.
I can't wait until we live in an environment where we have nature year round. Some of these birds are actually destined to winter on Vancouver Island. Fitting as we are flying out Sunday for another Real Estate viewing trip.
