Nothing relaxes us more than a nice walk on the beach. We actually managed to take a day off from our Company last Saturday and did just that. One of our favorite places to walk at low tide is
Goose Spit Park. You can walk for at least a mile on the sand bars when the tide is at it's lowest which we managed to take our walk at. We were rewarded by a couple of rarely seen creatures for this beach, live sand dollars and a hermit crab. You often find the white sand dollars on the beach, which are OK to take home as they are no longer alive. There are lots of small sand crabs at this beach, found simply by turning over rocks. This is the first time I have spotted a hermit crab here.

Done! I shall have another tonight just for you
DeleteTo me, there's nothing more stress-reducing and rejuvenating than a walk on the beach.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right.
DeleteOne of my favourite things to do also. I am LONGING for my PEI beaches - not too long of a wait now :)
ReplyDeleteYou must share some pics of those PEI beaches. I have never been.
DeleteAn unexpected day off (complete with walks on the beach) is the best!
ReplyDeleteYes, now we jut have to figure out how to get more of a balanced life with this self-employment. More beach walks needed!
