The Day She Lost It

This is not an uplifting post, nor a politically correct one.  I thought long and hard about posting it but it's my freaking blog so I am going to.

If you know me at all you know I hate Donald Trump.  He is the biggest DUMBASS ever elected to serve any kind of public office anywhere.  I cannot believe some of my own relatives voted for him.  I know for a fact why they did, the Republicans don't believe in abortion.  If that is the only reason someone voted for them.....what the hell were you thinking?

This stupid freak is encouraging nuclear war with other world leaders and if you don't think that is worse than abortion you have another thing coming.  He thinks women are to be used, anyone non-white is up for abuse and anyone who is not "Christian" is out to get him.

Let me tell you something - the world has far more to worry about from Donald J. Trump than Kim Jong-Un.  He is far more destructive on a day to day basis.  When is the American public going to wake up and remove him from power?  His lies are exposed all the time yet he still is in charge of the USA?  WTF!

Really, he thinks it's funny posting a video of himself pummeling CNN anchors?  Grow the fuck up!

My two cents...and if you are thinking you can post something pro Trump think again.  Just stop reading my blog and disconnect because your comments won't be posted.  Likely this is the only major political post I ever intend on posting...unless he is still in power and then expect more.  Enough said.

  1. I totally agree with you. I know people who voted just because of the abortion issue. How dumb!

    1. It irks me to no end, these good church going people always voted republican not thinking about the consequences of voting for Trump.

  2. I saw a great political cartoon the other day. Putin was on the phone with Kim Jong saying "Be careful of Trump. He's crazier than you are"

  3. I am right with you sister. I keep politics off my blog and my Facebook page to avoid conflict and controversy, but I detest 45. Like you I am wondering why he hasn't been removed from power. Surely anyone with a brain would think he's insane and a menace to our country and the world, yet every day I wake up and see he is still president. I worry about my future and my daughter's future every single day. The state I live in is very red, yet it's also a poor state that relies heavily on government programs like medicaid and food stamps. The people here that voted for him are the ones that will be hurt the most, yet they still support him. If the dems or progressives don't figure something out soon and get their shit together, he could be with us for much longer. I really wish I could hear one person that voted for him say they were sorry. That would be a start.

    1. Unfortunately you are right, people will be effected and then say it's the democrats fault...many voted for him simply for his racism unfortunately thinking he was the answer to why they didn't have a job, it was all those "immigrants" coming in taking them. That is not the answer to their issue anyway. More likely than not outsourcing to other countries (Like Ivanka Trump does with her clothing) and robots are the reason.

  5. You go girl. My feelings exactly. I have really questioned society and the people of the US since he gained power. It's like a nagging dread and fear of what we are becoming. Respect, truth, equality, are now "bad" things. The news media is "bad"? Trying going to a country that doesn't have a free press. Sure there are bad reports etc and bias, but that is the reason there are lots of different places to check and counter check information. It's like people don't want to be informed. Just tell me what I want to hear. Pray for all of us.

    1. It is just unbelievable what he is getting away with. Unfortunately the USA will have to pay for the damage he is doing for years. BUT, America is a great country and will be great again if they can just get him out of office. I swear if someone said how do I do as much damage to both the USA and Republican party in one shot the answer would be to vote for Trump. What were they thinking?

  6. I understand your frustration. He has brought this country to a new low. I don't post my despair but I do give it my all on Twitter, retweeting like minded folks. It helps a little. I know educated people who think he's doing a great job.

    1. I am generally upbeat but I was born in the USA and can't even stand to visit my relatives there now - plus they have to deal with this crap on a day by day basis. My cousin was on a bus yesterday with her small daughter and someone from Florida said (they were in Colorado at the time) isn't it nice to see all the white kids playing? I'm not racist but...". She was appalled. In Trump's world apparently it's ok to say things like that.

  7. THANK YOU!!!! It is mind boggling that, not only is he still in office, but there are ACTUAL PEOPLE who still support him!
It's refreshing to see this point of view on a blog about frugality. It doesn't seem to happen very often.

    2. It's not mind boggling he is still in office...it's how our system works. What's mind boggling is how he was voted in. We'll have another go in four years. In the meantime, if you are an American, vote, vote, vote, no matter how minor you find the election.

  8. When will the Americans wake up and see that they are the laughing stock of the world?
    East and West alike!

  9. I'm not a fan of Trump. In fact I'm no fan of any american president. They all had more luck than brains. Take Obama for instance, he put the Middle East on fire with his Arab Spring campaign, and as a result, thousands of muslim refugees have invadesd Europe and other western countries, creating chaos.

Now, when I see him vacationing I say: 'stay at home man, and save your life! some muslim is going to asassinate you for what you did, and the last thing we want is for you to become a martyr'.

North Korea means business, and americans should better concentrate on this danger rather than wasting their time and energy in trying to impeach Trump. I doubt it'll happen (the impeachment), as someone was stupid enough to involve the russians. The russians know too much both from Hillary's emails and from the carelessness of the FBI, and as we all know, knowledge is power, and they'll use this power to delete some figures from public life for good.

    1. That is why I am so intensely frustrated, the American President is antagonizing other crazies and they all are going to start WW3!

  10. Well, if you remember, in the U.S. we don't just get to remove elected officials from power, no matter how vile we find them. He was voted in, and in four years, assuming voters, as you say, "wake up" may be voted out again. In the meantime, people need to pay close attention to their local elections, and VOTE IN THOSE. THEY MATTER!!!

    1. You are correct but it is also my understanding that if enough Republicans come to their senses (many didn't vote him in) in their party they can have him removed which may take away a lot of the issues. I realize a lot of the platforms are Republican but there aint no crazy like Trump crazy

    2. No. In the U.S. you don't just get to remove people from elected office. The Senate and house can vote to impeach, which means voting to have him charged with something, but you would have to have something with which to charge him. Being a classless sod doesn't fit the bill. Then, they can vote to impeach, (here, I think it's a 2/3 majority needed to do so.) Even so, once impeached, he doesn't have to leave office unless they then vote to convict him of said crime.....I think a super-majority is required here, and again, burden of proof, yadda yadda...you know, that bothersome constitution.
Remember, Clinton was impeached, but stayed in office. Nixon WAS NOT impeached. He resigned before the legislature could vote on impeachment. The Republicans don't get to say, "He's a loon, let's get him out." And here is my point...my fellow Americans do not seem to recognize just how much power their U.S. senators and representatives have. Voter turnout in those races is pathetic. And, I am sure they don't know the difference between THAT branch, and their own state representatives and senators. No. They scream "Impeach him"like maniacs wanting a coup. That's NOT how our system works. If more Americans knew how our system worked, and voted, maybe, just maybe, we wouldn't be where are today. I wager most people who want Trump "removed from office"have no idea who would go in his place. THE VICE PRESIDENT!!!! Meh, the Republicans pulled the sae nonsense with President Obama. I blame the average American voter, more specifically, their ignorance of their own political system.

    3. Thanks for that explanation Meg. My ex and his family voted Republican and mother-in-law freely said it was only because of the abortion issue. That is her right of course, but when I listen to my ex (who is frankly just thick) it is frightening that he actually believes pro-Trump crap he spouts. And yes, the tangerine buffoon is an embarrassment. But you're right, as the Republicans control both houses there is no way he will be impeached. I'm not American so no vote for me - but good luck America.

  11. It is your blog and you are entitled to say or shout whatever you like.

I also am very worried about WW3. We have neighbors, both school teachers moving to South Korea at the end of July for a least two years. Not a good time to head there methinks. On other hand if the missile misses Alaska, Canada will be hit.

    1. We are pretty close to Seattle - that plus the fact my Stepson is about to sign a second military contract as can't get into the police force for a year or two (they will let him out of the contract if he is accepted as the recognize the RCMP as their civilian counterpart) has me scared. Hubby says I shouldn't worry about it but I just can't let it go.

  12. Not all of your faithful readers are mindless idiots. Don't forget -- there are plenty of other issues, besides abortion, that affected how people voted on this issue. One huge one was Trump's opponent.
I'm hoping you feel much better now, after getting this off your chest. And yes, I still intend on following your wonderful blog, whether I always agree with you or not!

  13. Right now, we have idiots in both parts of congress as well, scared of their own shadow (or not be re-elected.) I'd rather put a bunch of people in office that are running for the first time, that care less if they are one and done-they would actually respond to what needs to happen. I bring up congress because until that shifts, there is nothing that can be done about the president because even if they despise him in the same party, it is party of principle now. He is an idiot, and worse, a dangerous idiot.

  16. He looked life the total idiot he is wandering lost and awkward at the G20 summit. I read one journalist's comments that the rest of the world is figuring out ways to "work around" Trump. No one in political power in the entire world takes him seriously, except for the damage he has caused and is still causing. I have a male cousin living in North Carolina who voted for him while his wife and 2 adult daughters voted for Hilary. I wonder how he feels about his vote now? What a joke; albeit a deadly one.

    1. Well-put. My Mom has decided not to go see her family this year specifically because she wants to avoid the politics, part voted for him (due to abortion issue) and part didn't. So crazy he is still out there doing damage on a daily basis.
