YOLO

This blog is about to take a direction I have never gone, primarily due to the fact that I am extremely camera-shy and have a stalker.  After 14 years of knowing hubby (we met April of 2003) I am hoping that is in the past and although I do not use our real names on this blog I will be posting pictures of us from here on out, not just pictures of the places we go to as in the past. Here is a fast catch-up of our adventures the last several years.  We love traveling, snorkeling, kayaking, the outdoors and our dog Buddy (who has graced many a photo here).  I am going to be keeping the privacy of the rest of our family so you will only see the three of us :)  I promise from here on out to take more shots of us and share them with you.  I tend to be the picture taker so there will likely be more of hubby and Buddy but I am trying to change that in the future so stay tuned!

  1. Good for you! I loved seeing your photos, you beautiful couple. Those lovely smiles shouldn't be hidden.
I much prefer blogs where I can see the bloggers, it's like having a conversation face to face.
I bet looking back at these photos make you even more excited about your next trip. xxx

    1. Thanks Vix - we always get home and have hardly any pictures of us so this is my motivation

  2. Like you, I'm the photographer unless I had the camera to Wayne and ask him to take a picture with me in it. Pictures of the two of us together are very rare. - Margy

    1. Us too. Our family of 6 is almost impossible to get together, usually there are just 3 or 4 of us

  5. Lovely photos. I love putting faces to people's blog stories but understand why some choose to not share their pictures.

  6. Hi it's so nice to see pics of you and your hubs. I'm still travelling at the mo so not blogging but I'm documenting on Instagram if you want to take a look. I'm under wendcart. We only have three weeks left now after three months can't believe how quick it's gone but such a fab experience.

    2. Thank you. I've fallen in love with Instagram lol only started so all our family could keep up with our trip and know we were ok etc but I love it now it's quicker than blogging and great when you're travelling so I'm hooked.

  8. Love seeing you and hubby. You're a beautiful couple. The snorkeling shot is great. Who took it? I'm a terrible selfie taker as my arms are too short so I can't get the camera far enough away for a decent shot. Looking forward to more pics!

    1. We were swimming with the sea turtles which you are not allowed to do without a guide as that area is protected, the guide took that picture then went too deep and killed my old underwater camera. Hubby bought me a new one later that summer that is great for diving and can go much deeper than the old one. Thanks!

  10. I'm puzzled. Were you being funny on the stalker business? I wouldn't start including photos, for that very reason.
I use my real name -- but not my family's. And rarely appear in photos, but that's because I don't LIKE to be in photos. Love reading your blog, by the way.

    1. I really do have a stalker but due to our business can not be as anonymous as I would like, he contacted me a few years ago but all is quiet now. I think he is better, it is a sickness. It was someone who I spent 10 years of my life with prior to hubby and he totally imploded his own life, left me for someone else, lost his job and became a huge loser for several years. I had to cut off ties with his Mom and sister because he wouldn't leave them alone trying to reach me. He found my work email and contacted me that way but I just ignored it and it did the trick. I think he has gotten his stuff together and hopefully is back to normal. Thanks Cindy!

    1. He was a pretty sane person for the first 9 years of our relationship...you never can tell with people, but all that is over now :)

  15. I always enjoy seeing other bloggers' pics of themselves.

I hope the ex goes away and stays away. I guess I have never been interesting enough for anybody to stalk. ;-)
